Hi All, left SG 8 years ago after a 4 year posting. Looking at taking another job and had a few questions.

1. If i return do i get a new FIN or will the old FIN number be pulled out again?

2. i was previously (in 2003) earning $120K US - just based on inflation what would that be roughly equivalent to now?

3. previously lived on club st, at emerald gardens. used to pay $2500 per month for a 2 bedroom apartment - what would that be now?

for 3: with the re-rediscovery of the shop houses .. in Club street and all, and the clean up of TP, 2,500 ?? No way jose ...

It is fashionable to live in that area now .. and it is a tough thing to find any apartment at that rate ..

A friend of mine is renting a 1 br Serviced Apartment on Club Street. It s about SGD7K/month. hope this will give you some ideas.

A 2 bedroom fetch around 7-8k. The rental here kills.
