Singapore Expats

OK, so my son has just turned 4 in February and I've just started looking around at International Schools, I've always kind of know that we would not be able to afford it but just had another look at the prices - at $2k per month minimum, we just can't do it.

We've been here on PEP for 4.5 years and now considering PR, hoping at least it will help us find a school for my son.

I'm a little confused about when I would go through the registration process. If he turns 6 in February 2015 - guess starts primary 1 in August 2015?? does this mean that I do my registration process in Jun/July 2014?

I have been on the MOE web site but not really found the info to help with my query.

You only can start the registration process in July/Aug 2015

Primary 1 start at 7 yrs old not 6 yrs old

And Singapore education schooling start at Jan of the year not Aug.

If your son is not PR, you only can look at phase 3.
