Conduct
The use of foul, vulgar, abusive and profane language will not be tolerated at any time. We reserve the rights to decide on which language comes under this term. No sexist, racist, political or otherwise prejudiced comments of any description will be entertained. There should also be no personal 'vendettas' at any time. Please also avoid overly personal posts which tend to annoy the majority of forum users looking for genuinely useful advice or the classifieds users.

No spamming or multiple postings of any kind. Please report anyone who emails you to solicit any business or with offers of service.

No unauthorized advertisements are allowed in forum. We reserve all rights to delete or edit any post in the Forum Section which contains advertisement or advertising intent. All advertisements should be posted in the free Classifieds Section.

Disclaimer
While we encourage our users to make use of the free service provided by the respective website sections and while we seek to moderate them as much as possible, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any advertisements, comments or views expressed or posted. Any and all advertisements & views expressed by our users are entirely personal ones, and will not reflect or represent opinions held by us, who shall be in no way responsible for any advertisements, messages and/or posts made, including any false claims, as well as any malicious, defamatory and slanderous remarks. 

Property Ads
We ONLY allow posting of room for rent and short term rental in the Classifieds Section. Posting of entire unit for rent or sale in the Classifieds Section will be deleted and the user banned. We will promptly delete or edit any advertisement or posting from any user or real estate agent or agency soliciting for clients in the Classifieds and the Forum. We reserve our rights to ban any user that does not comply with the above.

Registration
Classifieds Section - Registering is required in-order to post, edit, end your advertisements, add comments or contacting the respective sellers or buyers.

Forum Section - Registering is required to post and will afford you certain privileges, such as the ability to edit your messages, private message other members, upload personal avatars, etc. Most important of all, it will create an unique identity for you so that other members can acknowledge and contact you.

Please note that your username and password can be used in both the Classifieds and Forum Sections. Once you have registered, no one else can use the same user name or email address you have selected.

Rights
The use of the Singapore Expats Classifieds and Singapore Expats Forum is free to all.  However, we do require users to abide by certain rules and guidelines at all times while using this service, otherwise we reserve the right to take appropriate action.

We reserve the right to approve or delete any advertisements, ban any user and to make any changes it deems necessary to the classifieds and the forum at any time and the decision of the administrators or moderators is final. No correspondence will be entertained. All material published on the classifieds and the forum is copyrighted to and remains the sole property of SingaporeExpats.com Pte Ltd.
