Ok I managed to find a sponsor and got my visa extended to another 30 days with a fine of $40. The ICA also made me write a letter on the spot stating my reason of overstay. Nice and simple (phew!).

Ok I just went to the ICA...the (very unhelpful) lady gave me a form and said that I'll need a sponser. The only sponser that I can think of won't be available for a few days. FML.

Hi guys, I think I have miscalculated and overstayed my social visit pass by 1-2 days (I was planning to do a visa run to JB tomorrow but now realise my mistake) and only have the long-term social visit pass "in-principle letter of approval" which probably doesn't help. What should I do now?? Should...

I want to go home to collect some stuff and visit parents etc. I know that the processing time for the EP is different for everybody..so is it a good idea that i go overseas for 2 weeks while i wait for it? or should i stay in ...
