It is a letter of offer that only have 2 pages on it - and it states that if I did not give a proper notice - then I should pay administrative fee. But the thing is that, they never chase me up ... it has been 5 months. and I even never run away from them - as I always have the same phone number and...

Umm - it is letter of offer I believe. I did not turn up on my first day of work of course. But I have an EP approval, which in the end I rejected.

Is there any law stating that the employment contract does not applicable only when an employee turn up on his 1st day ?
