anybody here can tell me any public holiday in Oct? i'll start my training soon and i just wanted to plan when i can go back home.hehe.

Wow! that's great! U must be uber excited right now. Congrats! have u found any place to stay? SIA will provide 7days accommodation before we start training. Well, that's according to the lady that give me the briefing. Anyway, how about the bond? when will u sign it?

oh, to answer ur question; yes, i'm from KL.

They don't call me yet. That lady (i think her name is Lilian) told me about the training date right after i passed my management round; during the submission of necessary copy of documents. Which is, on the same day of interview. Then, she gave me the medical check up letter.

Yea, they asked me to choose the date. She asked me to start on 20th but i think i've lot more things to be settled here so i asked for later date then she gave me 28th. SIA didn't contact u yet? any of ur friends got call from SIA d?

auw...that's long waiting till now. but i think u r safe since most of ppl here said that if u dun get any rejection letter within 2/3 weeks, mean u r oredi in aite? they didnt asked u to pick a date after u pass the management round?

@QS : Oh, that's great! i wish i can be much longer time here in KL.


My friend told me that the allowance will be paid after we had done our training which mean, we'll be paid on the 5th month. Is that true? can anybody here clear my doubt?

@heluvunot : I dunno 2 weeks is enuf o x but that lady who read about the bond said normally it takes about 3 weeks. i did my medical in KL on 23rd but still no news till now. hope it's oke. :) @QS : Hey, u did ur med on 23rd in KL? me too..wondering whether we bumped into each other. :wink: Anyway,...
