I'm an ex-pat financial adviser and the policy I recommend, and have myself, it Aviva's 'IFS Global Health'. It's more expensive than the local products, such as NTUC's, but is more comprehensive and available to any ex-pat.

I'm a financial adviser and the company I recommend for ex-pat medical insurance is Aviva. They won't help you if you're already pregnant since they have a 10 month waiting period for maternity issues. If you're just planning a child though they are ideal.
