Philippino maid for transfer

We are leaving Singapore in August and our maid will be available soon (end of July?). She has only work for us for a year, before that she worked with an American family for 4 years. She's 42years old and has a cheerful personality. She keeps our house clean and tidy all the time. As for cooking - ...

I won't park at the hospital if I'm going shopping around Orchard... it's expensive there! Most likely it's the other way round... park at the surrounding buildings and go to Mt E. PP is right, best to take a cab or bus/ MRT. But if you still want to drive, either come earlier and wait... there will...

Hi... i'm wondering if you've got the group for socatots? My son is 3 years and 5 months, and I think he'd like to join a group. Any chance to join your group...?

I definitely don't agree with your friends who are saying to ignore him! We should listen to our child(ren). How can we teach them to listen (and respect) us, if we don't want to listen (or respect) them. Listen to your son. Review the school program again. Review is daily routine before that. How c...

Some people are lucky to found an 'auntie' (local women) to do this for them. I've heard good things about this aunties.
Where to find them...? I think you'll have to ask around, I'm sure someone will know of someone who can help you.

Good luck!

There's just too many changes for a young boy... It's 3 new different environment for the past 2 years? It's a bit too much for him too handle I suppose. Maybe you can try to do just an hour or a couple of hours at the new place for a week, and from then on gradually increase his hours until the who...

I've seen it at Tangs earlier this year. Hope they still have it.

Or you can call and check with Palate Sensations (google for their number, it's around Portsdown road).

Is there Asian Tiger/ KC Dat from HK? We have used Santa Fe and Crown during our move, it's ok. No problem with both. On our last move (to Singapore) we chose Asian Tiger/ KC Dat and was glad with their 'after services'. They have the 'introduction session', 'welcome cocktail' and other events. This...

Agree with SMS - won't put my kids into any school before having a look into the school in person. Suggest that you go to the schools yourself, do the checking and comparison yourself. What might work for a kid (and their mom's), might not work for the others. From the 3 names you mentioned, I did l...
