Get together this Saturday night!

Calling all expats over 30! I've been in Singapore several months now (from Canada) and have a lot of catching up to do in terms of broadening my social network. Single Canadian Female 35...too much work, not enough play!

I've settled into my work here in Singapore and am now looking to broaden my social network. Guys or gals, if you like the outdoors, running, (or pretty much any outdoor activity) let me know! I am also game for a casual drink after work or a night out on the weekend.

Hope to hear from you!

Pricing here is way out of control.

Nothing is worth the 1000's you pay for a poorly designed, 300 sq ft box. This is definitely a place I will not be calling home...

I love the outdoors and want to keep in shape so if anyone has a running group established or would like to get out for runs please let me know. I would also love to explore some outdoor water ...

Thank you!

That is very useful information everyone. Thank you kindly.
Certainly not economical to lease or own a car is it? I may consider getting settled in first to see how much I really need a car. Perhaps renting a car on weekends will be the way to go ;)
Thanks again,

30 something female moving to Singapore mid January

I too am moving to Singapore (first time in the country) and would love to meet other females in their 30's. I am quite social and have a myriad of interests. Although my management job will likely be demanding of my time, I make lifestyle a priority - love to get out for drinks, dinners, coffees, w...

How much to lease a car?

I am moving to Singapore in January and no matter where I have lived in the world, I've always enjoyed the freedom of a vehicle. I understand buying a vehicle is outrageously expensive. Is it more economical to lease? For a basic small car (nothing fancy), how much can I expect to pay monthly? Also,...
