e-commerce is pretty popular with the younger set here. Our household order groceries from Cold Storage online, buy books from acmabooks.com, order dog food online, order cakes online, etc.

I've gotten quite a number of things from ebay Singapore. Sellers usually can either mail the stuff to you or meet for collection. I prefer the latter as it usually comes with COD.

if your selling to end users and doing it as a small scale business, doing it unregistered shouldn't be a problem.

Have a friend selling bags online and to friends and friends of friends. She's not registered as a business. "freelancer" she says.

i havne't come across any custom made mailboxes but I got mine from the hardware shop at Holland Village Shopping Centre. Think its 2nd storey, in front of the escalator.
