Curly hair distress call -- Stylist? Keratin?

Hi all- I'm relatively new to Singapore and my very curly hair is not happy here... Can anyone recommend a stylist who REALLY knows curly hair and how to cut it so it works better in this weather? I'm also considering a keratin treatment. Never done it before. Any recommendations on the BEST place t...

Cherie Hearts On Merchant Road (near Clarke Quay) takes infants. My 15-month-old son has been going for half-days for about a month now. I've been happy with them, and they seem to take very good care of him. I think the Cherie Hearts in CBD also takes infants? Check the site -- they list the ones t...

Thanks for your responses, much appreciated. And yes, I'm sure it differs from branch to branch. We both work (me part-time), so staying home all day isn't an option. And really, I think it's good for him to be with other kids in a structured environment with some learning and activities. I totally ...

Opinions on Cherie Hearts?

Hi all- We just got to Singapore about 2 weeks ago and are looking for part-time care for our 14-month old son. The Cherie Hearts near us has a space for him, but I'd love to hear any thoughts/opinions on it before we commit. I know it's quite a large chain, but they seem to be well organized and ha...

Thanks all. Will def check out Orchard Scotts. And JR8, thx for the suggestion. I think we're now leaning toward booking a week or two in one place, then investigating the longer-term options while we're there. The hubby checked them all out, but admittedly, I'm a little more particular than he is.....

Yes JR8, you're right, we are looking to stay in a serviced apt for 6-9 months. And we could come stay somewhere for a week or two while we decide. That's definitely an option. I was just hoping to avoid moving around too much and thought maybe we could decide from here. My husband was just there an...

Best serviced apartments for couple + a 1 year old?

Hi all. I'm new to this very helpful forum and could use your collective wisdom on serviced apartments in Singapore. (A common question here, I know.) I've looked through the archives a bit, and that's been some help. We'll be arriving in a few weeks for a 6 to 9 month stay and have to choose where ...
