Currently here on PEP with the family all on DPs. Wife decided to have our latest progeny abroad (Thailand) a couple of weeks ago, and now comes question of how best to obtain a DP for the wee fellah. there are a lot of posts on here re PR applications, process etc but I'm not actually clear what the are the pros and cons of PR. I do understand that once you get PR you start paying CPF contributions but not too sure what the upsides are. Can anyone help clarify ?
