Of course that depends on applicants, but I guess it's a general tendency. If he is outstanding among numerous applicants, he might be called for an interview. If he is the only candidate qualified for a position, it is likely that he will be called for an interview.

If you tell the truth, some people will not hire you. Others will not mind it, so to be hired you will need to have more interviews than usual. But you can try.

Maybe you can go back to your country or go to your wife's country and look for a job. Then, nobody would think it is unnatural that you quit a job. That's an option.

Singapore cannot sustain growth without foreign talents. The population of Singapore has been increasing steadily, but the population of Singapore has been decreasing if foreign households are not counted. Anyway, Singapore is not so competitive without foreign talents.

I have never heard about a besines visa, but it
might be a visa for working holiday or internship. If the MOM is suspicious of what they are doing, the chances are that you will not get an EP.

Sounds like you are desperate, but since you have a job, it's not wise to take a risk of quitting your job. Plus a notice period is required when you quit a job. Anyway you need to go back to your country and work for the duration of the notice period.

I think you had not better write anything personal like your salary here. Singapore is a tiny nation. Someone you know of might be reading your post. Of course you might not be Turkish or Russian. In that case nobody will recognize you.
