Just my opinion, but it seems like calling them domestic helper might make it easier to have them help with babysitting duties in addition to housework. That may be the reason for the change.

If you want to try to find her a transfer you are doing yourself an injustice, as, if you weren't happy with her, why would you wish unhappiness on another family?

So what do you do if you do if you are not happy with the maid you hired. Are you allowed to let them go with no consequences? It seems from what I have read that you have to try and get them placed somewhere. Thanks for the info by the way... I have learned more from this post than all of the other...

So if you agree to 4 days off a month, and the maid goes out one evening and gets knocked-up we are responsible for her pre-natal care?! Not to sound ugly, but what happens after that? Do we pay for room and board for her children? I must be misinterpreting something here!
