And hey $3000, isn't that expensive? I doubt singaporeans would wanna spend that kind of money on sofas but then again, you never know? :roll:

If you don't mind spending a little bit more, it could save you lotsa time/trouble/man power.

Not sure about the taxes, did the freight company said that to you? Because definitely you can't escape from the import clearance! unless everything are already in the bill. =)

Guys, the freight for transporting and clearance in Singapore ain't cheap. I've tried importing a ballchair over and just the clearance i spent SIN$400 not including the freight. As you still hafta engage a freight forwarder to clear your cargo (import permit etc).
