Sorry, I meant how much can you fit into a container load?

I think given how little stuff we have, it might be better to go with an excess baggage company...

Hi Beppi, thanks for the info & tip about Singpost - this is quite a confusing business isn't it! :???:

Roughly how much is a 'container load'?

Thanks!

Shipping SG to UK

Hi everyone, I know most people will arrange shipping of their possessions through their company when they arrive in/leave Singapore... But I wondered if anyone can recommend good shipping companies for us to use? We don't have much stuff... just a few pieces of furniture, some musical instruments a...

Advice re: renting apartment in Singapore

Hi everyone, Would appreciate your advice... I am looking for a small HDB/private apartment to rent in Singapore... is a budget of $1000-2000 realistic? We are not fussy about location, within reason. I'm confused as it seems many agents are advertising single rooms within shared houses, rather than...

Any new mums in north Singapore?

Hi everyone,

Is anyone a new(ish) mum living up in the north, i.e. Yishun/Sembawang/Admirality/Woodlands?

I'm British, married to a Singaporean and living up in the north - hoping to meet other mums once I'm out and about with the baby.

Would love to hear from you :D

Hi everyone, I have a 2 wk old baby (my 1st) - so far I've needed to go out with her 3 times and have used nursing rooms to feed her. It's great how in SG there are nursing rooms in most of the malls, clinics, public buildings etc. BUT when there is no nursing room... do ppl find they get stared at ...

Hi both, Just wondered if you guys join any of these groups you were discussing a few months ago? I moved to SG from the UK in Jan '11, and just stopped work to have my baby, who is now 2 weeks old. I'm interested in meeting other mums of young babies, but didn't know if these kind of groups are a g...

Social/support groups for new mums

Hi everyone, I know you guys were posting about this back in March, but I wondered whether you found any nice support/social groups for new mums in Singapore? I am a British PR, 28 years old, living in the north of Singapore (Woodlands) but am willing to travel! I would love to meet other mums here,...
