Do not be concerned.

My wife and I moved to Singapore in Feb 2006 from Australia. Our child was due in May 2006, so we were also apprehensive. Our child was born here in Singapore. It was an excellent choice. 1. The mothers support groups are EVERYWHERE. There are so many of them it's funny. Also check out http://www.mo...

Washing Machine

We moved over from Sydney in February and we were in two minds whether to bring our new top loader with us or not. If a company is paying for your furniture transportation...yes bring it. Yes, most condo's come with white goods, but usually you will find an older model front load. I hate front loade...

Arrived in Singapore...WITH a BBQ

I arrived in Singapore, from Sydney on Feb 4th and I had decided to bring my Barbeques Galore 3 burner with me. It's now sitting in the maid's quarters..(we don't have a maid) or a balcony in our condo ..hence it's not being used. If you are interested, I'd be more than happy to sell it to you. Hard...

My wife and I have been in Singapore since the start on 2006, so now we are looking to add some furniture to our collection. We have been up to Dempsey Road to take a look. I've been warned about some of the Teak in Singapore. It can crack. Any advice on the Teak from Dempsey Road. Is it likely to c...
