what i really like is just to have a small group over coffee or drinks. not really the party/clubbing type, as you've said, it's pretty tiring. But the thing is, when it's a small group, some people take it as if you're looking for a date. it's creepy and scary. although I know there are nice people...

Have you booked a resort yet? If not, i suggest you go to Malapascua, northern part of Cebu. Where thresher shark is known to be sighted by many divers.
