For your kid next year, one site you might want to take a look at is kiasuparents.com - they have invaluable info on schools, take up rate history etc...

We went to Queenstown primary in the end - waited until the afternoon to see how places were filling up - no ballotting in the end for us, which is a relief - don't think I'd have the nerves to go through this! Funny what you said about Singaporeans registering on Phase 3 - very anti-kiasu... Finger...
