Hi there, I'm looking for a houseshare arrangement. I'm a little confused by some of the terminology, in particularly the term "common room", which I have seen alot. Is a "common room" a bedroom, which the tenant would have exclusive use of, but they might have to share a bathroom, or something else...

I seem to be finding the same thing. Many of the listings are merely a picture of the building a given unit is in. Lack of information on current tenants is even more rare than pictures.
