find a job first, then the employer will apply the pass for you. you CANNOT apply s-pass on your own

I believe you should use the date stated in EPEC letter.

No.

But with EPEC you can apply for LTVP.

I got my LPR approved last September 2011, applied on January 2010.

I post my detail on other thread about LPR, not sure if any of this info will help you though.

any Indonesians getting their PR application approved lately? I just completed the formalities of PR last wednesday, will collect the IC this weekend :D Mine's through LPR scheme though, applied Jan 2010 (yes, 2010), approved Sep 2011 :shock: Some info: 24/M/Indonesian Chinese/Bachelor of Commerce

Nah you remember it correctly, I also set the appointment from my home country (printed the appointment confirmation using my dad's printer in his office foom).
