Hi Amjad, hope I helped. 1)Accomodation - (I do not know much about rent rates) 2)Transport - It depends on how much do you need to travel a day, for most days I only spend a minimum of $3-5 sg dollars travelling back and fro 2-3 places on MRT(Train) or Buses. ...if you don't know it, you don't know what you're missing..... Forget Haagen Daz (tastes awful and made in New Jersey, BTW) , Ben & Jerrys' (not bad but not as good), Mövenpick (was dissapointed with their ice cream despite their image) - Breyer's is quality stuff without the faux "luxury brand" ...

You could try sim lim square, the building is a place to shop for electronic stuff. One thing I have noticed being a thrifty person, is that the games on the higher floor shops sell cheaper than lower floors. Hope I helped.

You could try the above link recommendation, I went there once and totally enjoyed it as well, the meat was good, the service was good, and the seats were comfortable, total amount spent was only $24 sgd :D
