Too much time indoors playing computer games and staring at their ipads etc. Parents wanting their children to grow up with whiter skin or just protecting them from the sun could be the reason for them keeping them indoors here. Perhaps the rise in other countries such as Britain that was mentioned ...

I used Airecontrol you can find their prices online. I prepaid for 4 services and received a discount. Two guys came over and did a good enough job and cleaned up after themselves which was nice.

Glad to hear your experience was a good one, all too often you hear horror stories. I know what you mean about being without your pet for so long, luckily we didn't need to put ours in quarantine, but at least you got to see him most days. I'm sure you will put some pet owners minds at ease with thi...

I'm not sure who is the best but I've got Starhub and don't really have any complaints with them. But to be honest I watch a lot less t.v. now since arriving here.

The internet seems faster and goes down less often than what I used to have in the UK so am happy enough with that.

A big fridge is a must.

I've started using those airtight glass containers for a lot of things and I try to buy only what is needed for the meal so that leftovers aren't a problem. But i'm a bit greedy so they were much of a problem before

This is excellent advise. I'm also looking for a dog sitter for September time and perhaps the odd weekend and similarly not really wanting a permanent maid. If you find someone reliable could you let me know?

Cheers

We used to have a cat and if you left the table for a split second she would be helping herself to the contents of the milk jug. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't know what she used to hunt and eat :-&

Just got a fabric one from Carrefour at Suntec.

One nice thing about going there is the sales staff don't hound you like many other places I've been to. Maybe the commission is so low that they can't be bothered, lol.

One of the funniest I heard was when I was in my old place in the UK. My neighbour mate was living on the second floor in a block of flats. He gets a phone call from someone trying to sell conservatories so strings the guy along and arranges a time for him to come round and discuss it more. The guy ...

Going slightly off topic here but I have never seen so many fitness fanatics than I have here

Back to the topic now, as sundaymorningstaple said the best was is eat less and eat properly while having regular exercise.
