drinking water

How about water for drinking and cooking:
Do you buy bottled water for drinking?
Or is tap water safe enough?
Or do you install a water filtration system under the sink?

rental with or without furniture

What would be the price difference if renting with or without furniture? Let us say the rental for a furnished apartment is $4500, how much would it be unfurnished?

Or are all (most) apartments furnished?

JR8, Thank you for the floorspace info, that was going to be my next question…. Richie, Garbage chute in the kitchen? Sounds scary. When we were in NY, the garbage chute is in a small room in the hallway, and it smells….. Wonder if you have cockroaches in the condo :( I like the idea of drying cloth...

The round thing above the Yard (which is indoors incidentally, but still has a washer and drying area) is ducting I think and runs above the ceiling! Also, that's where your drying rack sticks out the window. L is useless cupboard unless you put some shelves in it. That's the rubbish shute I believ...

I saw some floor plans from searching some condos on this website. What do these letters mean: H/S, PES, W, F A/C this must be air conditioning, but what does it mean actually?
