Singapore New Employment Sign-On Bonus

Dear Expert,

My family company plans to hire me as Managing Director and declare me as employee with CPF contribution. Is it common in singapore for companies to pay sign-on bonus which I will declare as "other income" in my personal tax declaration.

Thanks in advance

Singapore - Retrospective Director Fee Declaration

Dear Expert,

As director of a company, can we make a payment to personal account first and then retrospectively record this as Directors Fee voted during AGM at a later time. Both events happen during the same Basis Year for tax purposes?

Thanks in advance
