I believe the current duty free allowances in SG are:

1 litre spirits, 1 litre wine and 1 litre beer,
or 2 litres wine and and 1 litre beer,
or 1 litre wine and 2 litres of beer

Yes, this year is a half year for me as well. Once I see how it all goes, I think I will have a better feeling for future taxes.

Thanks SMS. I have a US Tax consultant back in the states, but it may be easier to use one here. If the SG taxes are that easy, I will probably do as you mentioned and just follow the directions and do it myself. I saw the IRAS website, but have not reviewed the US Embassy one yet, so i will be sure...
