But what I fear most is not able to move my right nostril and upper lip for good

Been 3 weeks since my cheek implant with Dr pat..my right nostril and upper lip is still numb and not able to move...is this norm? Dr pat suggest I wait and he say he is sure he didn't damage the nerves...how?anyone pls advice or share ur experience..many thanks!
