Hey Mike, did the Korean place show the game till the end? Don't want to have to leave halfway through the game. I'm guessing they were showing the Singapore broadcast. I wish some place would show CBC. I watched last night's/this morning's game on CBC webcast and it was pretty good. Anyone want to ...

So I found a place that is showing some of the games. Smokey's BBQ in Joo Chiat. https://www.facebook.com/SmokeysBBQ.SG Apparently, the owner is a Sharks/USA fan. They showed the CAN-USA women's game last night! But it looks like all of Canada's men round robin games are at 1am and they're not open ...

I doubt Chili's would show the games live since they start at 1am lol Anyway, I emailed them asking about it. If I get a response, I'll reply here.

If you want to watch with Canadian commentary, you can watch online at cbc.ca, I think. That's what I plan to do. Just use a vpn.

GO CANADA GO! :D

I will probably go there for game 6 and 7*.
*If necessary. I'm conflicted about wanting a game 7. On one hand, more hockey. On the other, I don't want Boston to have a chance to win.

There's contact info for a youth ice hockey club on the Canadian Association website http://www.canadians.org.sg/events-activities.htm. You can probably also check the American Association too. I think there's only one real ice rink in Singapore, so ice hockey is not that popular here. It might be w...

I think you need to get the 1 star certification before you can rent single kayaks. At least that's what I have heard at some rental places. I just got mine a couple of weeks ago. I'm interested in going kayaking again, so let me know if you want a kayaking buddy :)

I doubt you'll find the books you want because the book sale is likely for books that the library no longer wants. So they'll probably be old. If you're still interested in going, I'll email you later today

Btw, FYI for anyone interested, the Singapore public library is having a book sale this weekend at the expo. If you're like me and couldn't bring your books with you during the move, this is a way to get some cheap books.

New to Singapore

Hi, I moved from Canada to Singapore about a month ago I'm looking to meet new people and explore the city a bit more. If anyone is interested, PM me or leave your email address here. If you're more interested in getting dinner/coffee, I'm up for that too. I live near Tiong Bahru and work near Tanjo...

23/f new to Singapore

Hi everyone! I've been in Singapore for just under 4 weeks now. I've been exploring parts of the city by myself, but thought it would be more fun with others. Plus, I don't know too many people here, so I'm looking to meet more people. If you're interested, PM me or post your email address here. We ...
