Re: Non-Competition after Employment

Hello everyone, Thank you so much for your replies. I did speak with a lawyer at the end and here is her reply in summary: - Employer should provide reasonable compensation during the non-compete to the employee something that is missing from the contract! - Employee must hold a fairly senior positi...

Re: Visa extension - more than 90 days ?

I am sorry, i really wanted to update here but i got busy and never did.

I did finally ask ICA and they told me that extension can be given provided a valid reason.

We never applied as parents didn't want to stay any longer :) I guessed they missed home.

Thank you all for your replies!

Visa extension - more than 90 days ?

Hello all

Parents are coming to visit me next week. Most likely they are going to get 90 days as they are from an EU country.

Is it possible to stay more than 90 days if they want to?

They can change their return date at no cost.

o dear.....

i haven't done anything from my side (i think i don't even have a sing pass to do this) but i did notify the employer/HR department for my new address...If they haven't update MoM i will still have to pay the penalty even i notify MoM now?

What would be the best approach to this?

European food shops

Where do you normally buy your European food?

I have heard of cold storage, but Singapore should have more!

Do you know any other smaller shops that sell western groceries/food?

thanks for the clarification taxico!

so even with one investor you will have to get a license?

in many countries you require license above a certain number of investors or above a certain amount of Asset under management.

What is the regulation in Singapore?
