apply early as possible!
New measures seems very high salary for PEP but compare with UK unlimited work permit (GBP150K) still lesser. even though if you have job offer no need to worry the company shall apply EP!

What happened prad? have u applied for PR? your house hold income is good enough to demonstrate that you are eligible for PR. As you said it is again case by case.
