For international mostly u gonna be based in Australia. Your family will only get to see you says about 1-2 months once twice.. it depends. One of my friend in Jetstar Asia and International. =)

Jetstar Asia based in Singapore. Jetstar International based in Australia if Im not mistaken.

i will go for Silkair as 3K (Jetsatr Asia) pay is very low. But the advantage of 3K they have layover at Osaka and Jakarta. As for Silkair its turn-around flight. =)
