Need advice on a smart way to look for a job

Newly arrived as a spouse of an expat, I would very much like to work part or full-time. Although I believe I am qualified to do many things, I have not gone a single track and most headhunters may find it hard to place me since they are used to working in a very branch/industry specific way. Native...

How to buy Garmin Forerunner 310XT in Singapore

I am looking to buy a Garmin Forerunner 310XT. I could not order it from Amazon.com. They say that they cannot ship to my address. But the price in Singapore seems sooo high. Any suggestions or tips?

BTW, I found out why so many e-book related applications are not available in Singapore. The government owned Media Corp owns its own ibook company called Ilovebooks.com

Thanks, I was wondering about that. Does the credit card also have to be a US one in that case?

Ibook availability in Singapore

Hi,
I have been trying to read ibooks using my Ipad. A lot of the best ibook sources say that they are not available in Singapore. For example kindle for Ipad and similar apps. Anyone who has experience with this and have solutions to share?

Hi Lily, This is exactly what I am looking for. I am studying Mandarin, but would like to have opportunities to practice more. I am fluent in English, korean and Norwegian. I also have mornings free - Mondays and Fridays. I have sent you an email, so I hope that we can get this to work. I am a Korea...

I am a native Korean, but my English has a higher standard than many native Americans. I can meet in town once a week - Tuesday or Thursday around lunch time to meet and practice my Mandarin. I could of course teach you Korean in return. Around the Orchard Road at 12.30 or so would be ideal. However...

Mandarin speaking? - I can English, Korean & Norwegian

Looking for a native Chinese lady (hopefully from the mainland) whom I can meet once a week at my place or nearby. Sharing similar interests would also be nice - staying fit, roller skating, running, train together at the gym, etc. Anyone? Daytime would be nice. I speak English, Korean & Norwegian.

I need a practicing partner

I already have a course I am happy with, but would like to find a native (hopefully from the mainland in the Beijing area) whom I can meet and practice regularly over a cup of coffee or lunch.
