Re: PR rejected 2013

The forum is to help understand and give suggestions on the PR application . Not to be sarcastic or rude. Unless I asked should I think about moving my base to Australia, you have no right to tell me that. Also my point is I ended the conversation long back with Thanks which means uve been helpful ...

Re: PR rejected 2013

I guess we'll have to wait it out. Safety first. I don't think US, UK , Australia are safe. ](*,) Talk about a ridiculous generalisation :o I wouldn't be surprised if ICA would interpret it in the same way. An old adage comes to mind, re: being wary of a friend who criticises or back-stabs his othe...

Re: PR rejected 2013

Priya, We are not deliberately trying to rain on your parade, here. We tend to err on the side of caution and do not, if we can help it, blow smoke (feel good words) but rather give the unvarnished truth as we see it. The regulars here have amassed a heck of a lot of anecdotal data that is constant...

Re: PR rejected 2013

That VP from Deutsche bank, Sambath Kannan's comment on facebook, and the witch hunt that followed, didn't make it any better for us, either :( As said before, everyone is entitled to have their opinion, just how Singaporeans have an opinion towards FTs, FTs have their opinion too.. Just because th...

Re: PR rejected 2013

Hi SMS

Is it true that there is quota refresh every year?
Because both the times we applied towards the end of the year.
Also I read somewhere that adding a cover letter to the application adds value. Sounds lame to me.

Thanks
Priya

Re: PR rejected 2013

Its been ages since I heard of an Indian couple who applied for PR and got it, especially working in banking. I would imagine there are 10s of 1000s of Indians of similar profile IT/Banking/senior executives in MNCs who have been rejected. I think EP is now the new PR. With the voices growing again...

Re: PR rejected 2013

Hi All, We applied for our PR again in Nov 2014. It was rejected in February 2015. Two rejections is, for all intents and purposes, the kiss of death as far a permanency in Singapore is concerned. If you want to throw good money after bad, by all means hire an agency. They cannot write anything in ...

Re: PR rejected 2013

Hi All, We applied for our PR again in Nov 2014. It was rejected in February 2015. Here is what has happened. Husband working in foreign bank around 5 years has had a promotion and earning 120k++ per annum now. Has successfully completed his CISA. I got permanent role with Gemalto for 50k per annum ...
