I am a 28 year old 1st generation male PR on the Professional/Technical Personnel/Skilled Workers scheme. When I became a PR, I received a letter from MINDEF saying that I was exempted from National Service. Does anyone know whether that exemption will continue if I took up Singapore citizenship? Or...

Just an update: I checked again tonight and, inexplicably, many days freed up in the months between now and April, including multiple slots this Friday!
