zzm9980 Thank you for helping and giving me a better understanding.

I will go ahead with My Republic and see if they can do anything to optimize routing. Will let you know in 1-3 weeks depending on how quick I can get OpenNet to install the fiber point.

Appreciate everyone sending in the pings! So far it seems like there is not much difference. However, no one with "high end" fiber has posted as of yet. For your reference I am currently using Starhub MaxOnline fastest broadband speed service. Here are my results.

Japan: Min 88ms, Max 98ms, Avg 93ms.
USA: Min 281ms, Max 292ms, Avg 287ms.
EU: Min 320ms, Max 346ms, Avg 330ms.
