It depends on your level of education and work experience.
But I'd say... you should use your standard of living as a guide.

For example if you have how many kids, expenses, loans, commitments, etc.

For me it's at least $5k to live comfortably with a small family

You got try looking at Alibaba.com?

They have a couple of korean suppliers. But the taste not really my type.
