Allowances!!!!!!!

Good to ask fr some allowance, be it housing or transport...if you're a local and drawing $4k that seems comfortable but as an expat you'll have many costs to factor in, transport, meals, occasional fine dining, household items, personal items..

You can try IKEA or the DIY shops, they may carry them. Otherwise, you can try the homeware shop at Parkway Parade basement 1, it's an Australian company, can't remember the name.. :)

I see Barang Barang outlets closed down in a few areas. But I personally find their things expensive.

Any other recommendations?

Can anyone share experiences living in this condo..?

How's the noise level from the nearby school? Is the morning assembly noisy at all? And also the rest of the school day?

Would love to hear from anyone living in this area...!

ZARA Clothes

Does anyone here wear Zara apparel? Do you experience the clothes shrinking after washes, that includes pants, t-shirts and shirts..?

Here's some photos taken yesterday of the haze in the city from the 30th fl...

online shopping

Online shopping is not the norm in Singapore, although there are specific sites that some of us love to shop at, reasons being because they're items we can't get off the stores. I think most people in Singapore shop physically at the stores, since it's so convenient. I've tried online ie: supermarke...
