I've posted in meet ups but there hasn't been much traffic so trying here instead. I'm a SAHM without a helper and would love to meet others like me, who don't need or want a helper and get a bit tired of people questioning my choice, ability, eccentricity or even sanity. And also, it's admirable if you treat your staff like that QRM, you sound like the perfect employer, but the majority don't, and couldn't afford to do the same and that really sucks.

Wow, QRM, I've never heard of a SAHD with a maid! I'm not the jealous type but how does Mrs cope with that I wonder. Maybe there is no wife/partner I don't know but there's me thinking I'm in a minority, but that's got to be very rare.

Yes I don't doubt that for a second, Beeroclock, there are all sorts out there and I try my best not to pre-judge and take each person individually, but I have to admit I find that bit hard. If there's anyone out there who wants to meet similar like-minded mums, please get in touch. I am a SAHM and do not need a maid or a helper and am a bit tired of the suggestion I need a maid - not for me thanks! It would be lovely to meet others who feel the same as me.
