When I relocate to Singapore and ship my belongings over will I end up paying a customs official to watch, read and listen to every DVD, book and CD?

When shipping my belongings will I have to ensure shoes, trainers and boots are perfectly clean and free from soil or plant material? Even the tiniest, barley visible particles and stains? Had a look on Singapore customs website which didn't say any foreign plant material is prohibited but a removal...
