no probs with eton house - infact very good.

Can not fault Eton House, just that the various Eton House campuses run different programmes, and different term dates etc. My daughrter now needs more after school activities etc, not offered at the current campus. I'm considering one of the other Eton House campuses.

For 2 and a half it's great.

DRIVERS LICENCE CONVERSION

Hi there,

Do I need to know every single %^&$£*! acronym in the drivers licence handbook. Eg. EMAS, TTD TID TSD or do I just have to know what an expressway monitoring and advisory system, Traffic time delay, traffic information display does?

TFYH (thanks for your help!!)

CHANGING SCHOOLS any recommendations??

Hi there Mumsand Dads. We've been in Singapore for a year now and have had our daughter at EtonHouse. Have been very happy with it, but our "bright" ONLY CHILD little 5 (this November) year old needs more variety - after school programs etc. We want to continue her Mandarin as she does 1/2 day Engli...

Playgroup

Pebble Bay condo operates one - (East Coast) every week in their function room. Not sure if it is open to non-residents of the condo though, as I don't attend, - just see the gathering. Management phone number is +65 64405817 (though I find their management pretty ........ ) So maybe when you arrive...

Migraine treatment

Hi, being a migraine sufferer myself I empathise with you totally. Before I started experiencing them myself, I had no idea how debilitating they are. My suggestions include.. Identify if there are any triggers ( mine are cigarette and cigar smoke and certain chemicals in paints) Identify if...

Thanks for replies

Thanks for the sense of humour - I needed a laugh - it's hard to keep positive when you get door slam after door slam. How about my speciality being "Policy Maker's Mind-Stretching Massage". My husband is an expat on an employment permit. I was told at MOM that an entrepass would be even hard...

Dependent Pass change to Sole Proprietor

Can anyone help please? I'm on a dependent pass. I went to MOM and they told me I can register my buiness with ACRA and THEN apply to MOM for a change through LOC. After clearance from Home Affairs and Police Department. I can't wait to hear what other obstacles will be put in my way...... Because I...

Is anyone coming to Singapore FROM MELBOURNE who has room in their container for a sewing table that measures: 1185mm (46¾") Wide 560mm (22") Deep 760mm (30") High The item is with a friend in Box Hill. WE LOVED GREAT WORLD

We stayed at Great world City and loved it. It's not near Orchard but has regular direct shuttles. Greatest thing about Great world City is the toddler facilities. My 4 year old loved the super play equipment - not boring slides like most places, but state of the art equipment - covered so usable ev...

PEBBLE BAY GOING NUTS - GET ME OUT OF HERE- CAN WE?

Despite years of relocation - we made a HUGE mistake. Viewed our place on a dingey grey day and thought it was dark because of weather. WRONG> IT’s really dark. Not the worst problem - just lovely hefty electricity bills to keep it from feeling like a morgue. not all apts have bright views, despite ...

have you thought about SERVICED APARTMENTS? saves on live-in maids - if you don't have children this can be an advantage. serviced apartments also have good quality gyms, and leisure facilites pools etc. Maybe worth looking into. We stayed at Orchard Suites (not bad- bit old), then Great world City ...

Don't give up on them. We have this same problem every time we relocate, but we always persevere with them. We've been banking with them now for 11 years and in 5 countries. We've had credit card limit refusals, mortgages refusals, you name it and then we always get what we want in the end. I wouldn...
