Chemical peeling is a temporary cure to your skin problems. The same skin issue will surfaced again after some time because the problem lies with the deepest (aka root) of our skin. Yes, you are right. Chemical peel does thinner your skin.

It's like we buff our nails, it looks shiny and nice, actually in this process, our nail becomes thinner. Same logic

Why do you want to do chemical peel? And you sounded really worried...
