Re: Employment records getting jumbled up in SPR online application

I did not find the root cause or solution to this problem. However, I found the employment records and addresses got automatically arranged in the chron order after I submitted the form. But, I saw it still persists in the way my educational records are arranged, so the problem is not solved complet...

Re: how to calculate gross salary

The Annexe A form that you'd have received from HR should have Base salary and Gross salary info. Why don't you key in the same in your application in order to avoid confusion?

Employment records getting jumbled up in SPR online application

Hi folks, Has anyone encountered this issue during online Singapore Permanent Residence application - once you click on the save button, past employment records get jumbled up and will go out of the chronological order in which I had originally keyed. I noticed the same issue with the Past residenti...

Re: Information on Employment Pass (EP), Dependant Pass

Just curious about the salary criterion for DP eligibility; how strict is it enforced? I've been hearing from my friends about their friends earning below 5k and still got DP for their spouses. And all of these people work in big MNCs with huge turnover. So, is it like the government might relax a b...

Re: Moving from India to Singapore - is IPA enough?

I know this post is from the stone age. Still I want to share my experience of leaving for Singapore for the first time on IPA. There are some ignorant people in the emigration dept of Indian airports who don't know the value of IPA. I was not granted clearance and I had to speak with the Singapore ...

Guarantor for Service Obligation

Hiya, I have two doubts about the effect of service obligation scheme. 1) What will happen if the person whom I had stood as guarantor for the SO scheme leaves SG permanently without paying the fine? Will I be prosecuted and blacklisted by the credit authorities in such a situation? 2) What happens ...

Re: Termination before joining

Hi everyone, Thanks for the overwhelming response... Let's not jump the gun here. I didnt apply for another company (Y) after signing a contract with company X. I had applied for both at the same time and my preference was always Y and X was a fall back option. Due to some clerical error, company Y ...

Termination before joining

Hi, I signed a contract with a company and now I have got a better option. I went through the contract which I had signed and they have mentioned a notice period of 1 month. Considering the fact that I have not joined the company and not even applied for an E-pass, could I be charged with a breach o...
