Very surprise that the advises given here are mostly "hear say" "I think" "Maybe". :???: Well, the best is to check it out yourself. :roll: Call up MOM, ICA, CPF Board, HBD or whatever department that you think should be able to help you. They even online now. :P Don't totally believe what you read ...

If you thinking of getting a PR

It better not to work. Check up with ICA, they can advise you. But it a real hassle for a company to hire a DP, unless it a MNC or big company. The company need to make several trips to ICA & MOM. No jokes! :???:

Check out with MOM 1st before you come Singapore

Singapore government is very protective of the local workforce especailly the work permit part. I would suggest you call up Ministry Of Manpower (if you can manage to talk to anyone there :x ) before you come Singapore.
