Install ceiling fans on top of ceiling facing your bed is a big no no coz very bad Feng shui. Can affect health of the occupant who sleep on the bed. Sleep will not be peaceful. Better get a nice stand fan instead.

If your helper is PRC, no way you can transfer as Singapore don't take in PRC helper. Filipino, Indonesian, Myanmese I think you can. But you need local agency in Singapore to do the paperworks for u.
