Install ceiling fans on top of ceiling facing your bed is a big no no coz very bad Feng shui. Can affect health of the occupant who sleep on the bed. Sleep will not be peaceful. Better get a nice stand fan instead.

East coast area also good. Are you Indian? Many Indian expat stay in Bayshore in East Coast. You will think that you are in Mumbai as 90 percent Indian staying there.

If your helper is PRC, no way you can transfer as Singapore don't take in PRC helper. Filipino, Indonesian, Myanmese I think you can. But you need local agency in Singapore to do the paperworks for u.
