Anybody aware if we can get indian newspaper delivered to home ? My parents coming soon and I am wondering if I can subscribe Indian newspaper so that they dont get bored

yes, u guessed right..Im being offered a contract or as wat u say 'contingency' staff for 1 year.. But just wanna know of how good/bad the culture is (timings, flexible work hours, weekend working, manager-subordinate relations...etc)

Yes, i did finally find a job though not the one I was enquiring about in this post (ie M1)..yesp, its tuff to get a job on DP, but it not impossible.. u have to keep trying n trying.. n it'll b good to use contact, if any

Hi, If you want to rent a flat in less that SGD 1000, then HDB's will b ur only option apart from the high rentals , cost of living in Singapore is pretty ok (that is if one stops thier habit of converting SGD to INR) everything from food/grocery to public transport to entertainment is quite reasona...

hmmm.. i faced it all too... but still kept trying, networking, calling/meeting consultants, sending applications n finally got myself a decent job after 4 months of landing here.... its tuff but definitely not impossible... n not all jobs mention that they want only PR's/Singapore citizens... most ...

leave aside a job offer I aint getting any interview calls even
