Re: Air traffic controller

As a CAAS ATC, is there still the subsidy for getting a CAAS PPL? If so, what's the percentage subsidised? I love aviation and flying so would be a bonus to be subsidised given how expensive it is to get a PPL! Yes there is a subsidy for getting a PPL, 90% will be sponsored by the company once you ...

Re: Air traffic controller

Honestly, I have no idea how one passes the first interview. Friends who I think would have been good ATCOs have also been unsuccessful at your stage. I don't really know what their deciding criterias are, but unfortunately, interviews are largely based on first impressions and presentation. So my a...

Re: Air traffic controller

I went for my first round of interview last week. I was one of the last interviewees for that day. The interview sessions really short and the interviewers look bored. Just received an email from them that my application was no successful. Did anyone else failed their first interview as well? Is it...

Re: Air traffic controller

Hi! I went for the apt test a few weeks back, and my current status is shortlisted. But I have not received any calls/emails from the HR.. Does anyone know how long do they usually get back to us? If possible, you can try contacting HR to ask for an update for your situation. If you are shortlisted...

Re: Air traffic controller

Give it a week or two. If they don't get back you can give the HR a call or email them. They should call you down for the orientation if you cleared the first interview. How would they inform if I'm not selected, will they call or email me? They will give you a call inviting you down for orientatio...

Re: Air traffic controller

Hi Akyx, It's still possible to be rejected at the final interview stage. However, if you think you did pretty well, I wouldn't worry too much about it. 2 weeks is still an okay waiting time, I think it took almost a month for them to get back to me, so just keep waiting for that call and don't worr...

Re: Air traffic controller

Understood that. Training period is always the case. My status just changed to "in process" hope will get an email soon for the test :) By the way, is there a standard pay grade for diploma/degree holders? Or according to personal expected salary range? Entry Level PATCO pay grade is pretty much ti...

Re: Air traffic controller

Thanks for the reply. Any idea of the age limit (going 30 next year) and if they take in people with family commitments? due to the intense training (period) I'm worried they might not want to take in people with family commitments. Didn't want to keep my hopes high :? Hello, Currently an ATCO all ...
