I understand your concern. I don't think even by end of the yr the border will be open looking at the current situation in MY. I have called up a Law Firm and M'sia Embassy. Looks like to mail in to withdraw the EPF, I would need to get all my docs certified by Public Notary ($170+) and then go Msia...

Hi. I would like to know for the EPF submission, anyone have experience or info whether I do need to get my documents to be notarized by a law firm if I choose to Mail-In my EPF Withdrawal application?

You can write in to ica_citizenship_unit@ica.gov.sg to request for the NRIC (original) and a soft copy of the citizenship certificate. The NRIC will be sent via courier while the citizenship cert will be email over to you. You will still need to attend the ceremony to collect your original citizensh...

mine took approx 13mths+. applied in Dec'18 and approved on Jan'20. Online submission. Taking the SG Journey now.

When I returned back to SG after my PR was revoked, I had to apply for an EP. After holding the EP for 1yr+, I re-apply for PR and now holding a PR. Yes - I am a M'sian Chinese. I am not stating you can get back your PR or release your PR as and when you like. It is ICA discretion.

Hi. I was in the same situation as you. I decided to return to M'sia and requested for PR extension and was granted an extension of 1 year.
