Pay cash for accommodation? Don't get what you mean. You might have a problem as many landlords have second thoughts about renting to tenants with no valid passes to stay here in the long term. Reason's because the local govt's very strict with leasing out to illegal immigrants. The situation might ...

Hi! From what I know, you're not allowed to work on a long term social visit pass but you can apply for permission to work under a dependant pass. But, it's not definite that MOM will approve your application. Best way would be for you to get a job here before relocating.

To that unidentified guest above Ling. I'm saying it's inconvenient as buses are not always on time, not to mention the jams/floods along Bukit Timah Rd sometimes that will make the bus trip twice as long. I don't see what that has to do with laziness. Anyway, it's an indisputable fact that any real...

It's quite far from the city and transport is not very convenient. There's no train station nearby but there're buses. Not too sure about its frequency though. What made you choose this condo?

It depends on what you're looking for. Close proximity to the city/work place/amenities, transport convenience? Bukit Timah and Holland are nice areas but they're not as convenient as Orchard, which is the city centre.

Kristy,
Do you do that because you're stressed or upset? I don't think medication is a long term solution. Always has its side effects. What do you binge on? Perhaps, if you binge on fruits or healthy snacks, it won't be so bad afterall.

You apply for an entre pass when you either wish to start a new biz here or if you are a "sleeping" partner and wish to participate actively in the biz here. Entre pass is definitely more difficult. Normal employment pass is much easier as you are assessed on your qualifications, working experience,...
