Think you have to take into account who you work for. Is your employer's business doing well? Doesnt necessarily have to be about the size of the company, but more so if the company is profitable (ie paying tax). Check with the HR of your potential new employer. They didn't "help" you to apply. They had to apply as the employer is the sponsor of the EP. They can tell you your current status. I received the KoD when I applied 2 years into my EP. Got new job, pay rise, had baby Daughter then was able to get PR 2 years later.
