I'm in a similar situation, with a similar profile, except I am Malaysian Chinese. PhD here, working for ~2 years. Applied 7 months ago. Recently a few of my ex-colleagues were rejected/accepted mostly after 8 months, with only 1 being accepted after 6 months. Maybe they are reading our theses! Min...

It's more than 8 months for me, currently still pending. Quite a few of my colleagues with a similar profile as mine received their results between 6 - 8 months. A couple of rejections, but mostly were approved. We're all PhD-trained scientist working either in academia or industrial R&D. Haven't he...
